Position: Patient Advocate with Health Center 9 and Strawberry Mansion Health Center

Education/experience: Studied at UCLA where I did a Biology major and Spanish minor
Where you're from: Philadelphia, PA
Why you joined: As a Philadelphia native, I wanted to return home to serve my community during my gap year. I joined NHC because it combines my passion for service and medicine into one role. I hope to practice medicine in the future and I am confident that this role will give me a background in understanding community health and patient needs. I would like to make a meaningful impact on my community by becoming a reliable advocate that patients can rely on and by doing community service work around Philadelphia.

Interests & Passions: I am interested in learning more about health disparities and the public health initiatives created to help bridge gaps. I love being active. Some of my favorite activities are surfing and camping. Fun fact: I officiated my friend's wedding.
