Position: Community Health Coordinator at University of Pennsylvania

Education/experience: I graduated with a degree in biology and have gained experience working in community health outreach programs, where I supported underserved populations in accessing different medical resources.
Why you joined: I decided to join the National Health Corps because I am passionate about addressing health disparities and ensuring care for all individuals and hope to do so through hands on experience.

Interests & Passions: I am especially interested in public health initiatives that focus on increasing access to preventive care and health education in communities. I am passionate about addressing social determinants of health. In my free time, I love playing tennis and trying new restaurants. This year, I hope to strengthen my skills in patient advocacy and learn more about the challenges underserved populations face in accessing care. In the future, I aspire to become a physician who integrates public health principles into clinical practice.
