Where you're from: I'm Syrian and was born and raised in the United Arab Emirates before moving to Texas in 2015.
Why you joined: As a legal immigrant, I witnessed firsthand how lack of insurance created barriers for my family. That experience motivates me to ensure others in similar situations have access to the support and care they deserve.
Interests & Passions: I'm especially interested in helping uninsured patients understand their options and get the medications they need. I also care about making sure people have basic needs like food and clothing, since those factors can contribute to their overall health. I love going on outdoor adventures, whether it's a hike or walking around and exploring the city. I also am into arts and crafts, mainly doing exaggerated nail designs. Fun fact: I love to skydive!
